Radomir
In his predominantly large-format paintings, Radomir works with just a few figures and objects, creating compositions that are quickly grasped at a glance. His paintings appear like snapshots from history, inviting viewers to imagine what comes before and after the depicted moment. Born in Belgrade, Radomir has lived and worked in Germany since 1978. From 1970 to 1975, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and at the Academy of Art in Marseille. He then spent eight months working with Salvador Dalí. In his paintings, Radomir comments on art, politics, power, and society. The frequently appearing large inscriptions function as both titles and commentaries on the depicted scenes.
